Mike Vechery entered the real estate business in 2001 and established 1050 Real Estate in 2005. He has become one of the industry's best brokers conducting sales and leasing in residential and commercial real estate. He splits his time between residential sellers and buyers arranging transactions of single family homes, condos, coops, and land. This gives him a unique feel for the market. Mike also works with both owners and tenants in commercial real estate handling office, retail, and industrial leasing and also manages and completes sales of commercial buildings throughout the DC area. He has completed hundreds of real estate transactions in nearly all real estate categories. Therefore, Mike has extensive experience and handles his transactions as a true businessman to greatly enhance your opportunity for success. Mike's real estate marketing, knowledge, money allocation, commitment, and communication combined with his ability to negotiate and settle transactions are what set him apart from other agents or brokers. Mike and 1050 Real Estate are licensed as real estate brokers to transact business in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia and offices are located in Georgetown.
Prior to real estate, Mike was a Director of Corporate Finance for Fortune 71 company NYNEX and worked as a special assistant/consultant to the Treasurer in the purchase and sale of real estate and telecom investments. He has also managed private investment portfolios. Mike holds a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) designation, the prestigious Certified Management Accountant(CMA) and Certified Financial Manager(CFM) certifications, and is a member of the National Association of Realtors(NAR).
A native Washingtonian, Mike attended Georgetown Prep in Rockville, Maryland. He graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA-Finance) from the University of Georgia in 1987 and an MBA from Georgetown University in 1994. Mike enjoys golf and video photography in his spare time but mostly enjoys the times spent with his beautiful 12 year old daughter Lauren. Mike resides in Potomac Falls, Virginia.
